Moving from Expectation to Expectancy

Expectations. We don't know what's next or around the corner, yet it doesn't stop us from having expectations about how life should be. And when those things don't happen - we end up disappointed and discouraged about life. This can be the same for our faith. We put expectations on God about how He should show up and what He should do for us. Moving from a place and posture of expectation to expectancy is rooted in an understanding that our plans are submissive and surrendered to God's.
